6/30-7/1 American Cancer Society: Relay for Life event at Ramona High School. Opportunities include participating in the relayby joining a team or starting your own. Riverside Humane Society: Newsletter Volunteer: One or two volunteers are needed to help copy, fold, label and meter-stamp the fundraising newsletter. You must be available the beginning of each month (anywhere from the 1st to the 10th) and be willing to give 4-6 hours. Contact Jackie Lamirande 688-4340 ext. 209. Public Liaisons: Volunteers are needed to be Public Liaisons whenever the Shelter has busy days - answer phones, transfer calls, greet the public and distribute information sheets. Riverside Meals on Wheels: Continuing Opportunities: Deliver meals to the home bound and elderly in Riverside. Routes vary in time commitment. You will need to fill out a Volunteer Information form which can be found on the website Forms Page - download this form, fill it out and bring it in when your route starts.
