Continuing Opportunities
Deliver meals to the home bound and elderly in Riverside.  Routes vary in time commitment. You will need to fill out a Volunteer Information form which can be found on the website
Forms Page. There is a continuing need for help during the year either as a permanent or back-up driver. You can buddy up with another Patroness and split a route between you. Fill out a form and mail it to Scott Harris at the address above.

Purpose:

Panhellenic means "All Greek" and is a non-profit organization made up of members of many different sororities who raise money for  scholarships for young women.

Events: 

Panhellenic Home Tour: (Saturday in October; Two shifts, 11AM-2:30 PM and 2:15 PM to 5:30 PM) Five private homes are opened up to the public. Volunteer Ticktockers help to transport booties worn on shoes from the back door to the front door for new arrivals. Booties are worn to keep dirt from being tracked into the homes. Volunteer moms are needed as hostesses inside the homes.

Purpose:

The Main Branch of the City Public Library offers a wide variety of programs and fairs all year long.

Events: 

Anyone wanting to volunteer must fill out a volunteer profile form.  Contact Kathy Sheere above.
Adopt-A-Section: A group of girls would be responsible for maintaining a section of books and keeping them in order. 
First Sundays: October through May, the first Sunday of every month will be a different program that will need volunteer helpers.
Dickens Festival: The Library works with the Dickens Festival in February to create many interesting events.
Orange Blossom Festival: The Library runs many programs during this April Festival.

Purpose:

There are many schools within the Riverside Unified School District that are needier than others. Adopting a school or class within one of these schools would be a big help.

Grade Level: Open to all grade levels.

Events: 

RUSD: Reading Books to put on tape for visually impaired students. Set up own time.

For Projects at Your Own School:  hours may only be accrued for work on projects that appear on our website.  Casual volunteering by a Patroness at a school where you have a child attending (whether a Ticktocker or not) is specifically excluded.

Purpose: The Sharon Roberts Pancreatic Cancer Foundation raises funds for cancer research by selling handmade Swarovski Crystal bracelets.

The S.P.O.R.T. foundation works with local student athletes to provide care and prevention and recognition of athletic injuries.
