Festival of
the Trees: (Thanksgiving Weekend)
This event, which is
sponsored by the Hospital Foundation to raise money for the children at
the hospital. Volunteers work at various booths, games, food and face
painting booths. There is a Santa visit, as well as special events such
as the Teddy Bear Tea.
Garden of Spring Tour: (April & May) Volunteers act as
hostesses, sell tickets, and helps with serving refreshments at each
home garden.
Medical Center Volunteering: Volunteers help make tray favors for
the patients trays and may help on the units with the patients. Some
current shots may be required to work with patients. |

There are many opportunities for volunteers including making cookies, blankets, honoring requests of the dying and bereavement education. There is some training and education involved in these activities and this philanthropy really needs a class commitment. |
