This is an awareness campaign about the health risks of smoking.

Daffodil Days: (Jan-Mar) Major Fundraiser, lots of mailing,
copying, stuffing and folding. Towards the end there are lots of
daffodil deliveries to make.
24-Hour Relay: (6/30) Major Fundraiser, need help setting this
event up, checking people in and serving food etc.
Health Fairs: Must attend a 1½ hour training which will teach
you all about the Cancer Society, you can then attend numerous
health fairs, work booths and hand out information.
Internet Research: They need to know what kind of information is
being disseminated about cancer on the net. Need people to surf!
Calligraphy: There are always certificates which need this
Special Touch!
Clerical: Both at Home & In The Office
Drivers: Volunteer drivers for its Road to Recovery
Program, which transports cancer patients to
and from their medical appointments.
Volunteers will help patients who are too ill
or old to drive themselves and don't have
family members able to take them. The
society trains drivers, who volunteer one or
two mornings or afternoons per month. They
will also match drivers to patients.

Town: (October) This is a major fundraiser for the Arthritis Foundation.
It is a wine and food tasting, which invites chefs from all over the
Inland Empire to attend. Volunteers would pass out glasses and
plates, greet guests, bus tables and help set and clean up.

Arthritis Foundation Celebrity Golf Tournament:
(Before the event
and in April) This event is held in Menifee. But
there are goodie bags to stuff and literature to stamp here, in the days

Ghostwalk:
(October, around Halloween) Downtown Main Street Mall by the Mission
Inn. Walking tour of downtown Riverside with specific stops chosen
from ghost stories written about the location. Ghost stories are written
by local authors who have entered a story contest. Volunteers help
with the tours as tour guides or group supervisors. Each tour
takes 1½ hours. There are also games, food and activity booths
which need to be set up and run.
Nutcracker: (December, Riverside Municipal Auditorium) CRB needs
ushers and chaperones at this production.
Spring Production: (April or May) CRB needs ushers
and
chaperone

production.
Clerical Work: Help with bulk mailings. labeling and sorting, two
