Join
us as we celebrate our chapter's 47th Anniversary for the 2006-2007 year! The Riverside National Charity League, Incorporated is a nonprofit
organization composed of Patronesses and Ticktocker groups, organized to
initiate and encourage charitable endeavors, and to foster the mother-daughter
relationship in social, cultural and philanthropic training. A group of
eight women first organized the Riverside Chapter in 1960,
were chartered in 1961, and finally incorporated in 1963. Our chapter grew in
2004-2005 to include over 237 Mothers and Daughters. They
volunteered over 5,567 Philanthropy Hours working together, in 22 philanthropies
to help serve the people of Riverside. They also volunteered an additional
5,631 League Hours in order to keep our chapter running strong! To
find out more about the exciting opportunities
available to mothers and daughters working together to improve their community visit our
National Charity League Web Site at http://www.nationalcharityleague.com .

NCL now has a
post office box and it is located at the Sunnyside Post Office (by the
plaza).
This address should be used on all contracts, bills, taxes, statements,
insurance info, etc. Hopefully, this will ensure that when there is a
change of board members, the information relating to their positions on
the board will go to the post office box. The treasurer and
president will both have keys and they will pick up the mail and
distribute to the correct people. This makes our mailing address as
follows.
