PRACTICES
The
first week, players and cheerleaders wear their Orangecrest Spirit T
and preferably, navy blue athletic shorts. Football players must also
wear an athletic supporter, football cleats, and their helmet. The
water bottle should be marked with your child’s name and should
contain water or a sports drink (no soda, juice, or energy drinks).
This should be sent with your child every day throughout the season.
The first ten hours (or first week) of practice will consist of
non-contact conditioning-type drills and skill evaluations. After
grass time (10 hours of conditioning) is completed, the player will
engage in full contact and will be wearing the full practice
uniform.
Practice will begin Monday, August 1st. Jr Micro and
Micro will practice from 5-7 PM. Jr PW, PeeWee, and Midgets will
practice from 7-9 PM. Practices are 5 days, Mon through Fri. from
August 1 through September 2. After Labor Day, practices will be
Tues, Wed, and Thurs with games on Saturday.

Orangecrest
Junior All American Football is a youth tackle football program
for children ages 7-14. There is an age and a weight
requirement for eligibility. We strive to include everyone that
wants to participate, but our teams are limited to a certain
number of players and we are dependent on available practice
space. We do not cut kids. If your child is registered (all
paperwork and fees have been received), they will be placed on a
team. Others will be placed on a waiting list.
Our Cheer program is designed
for participants who are interested in the sport of
cheerleading, whether their sibling plays football or not. We
have Mascots (ages 5-6) and Cheerleaders (ages 7-14).
Cheerleaders will learn and participate in game cheer, as well
as learn dance routines for half-time and competition. This is
focused, fun, serious cheer.

Camp/ Clinic Important Information:
Youth
clinics and camps that your child might attend are organized and
run by an individual(s) who may or may not be affiliated with
this youth sports organization. Whereas this youth football
program is advertising this clinic, and inherently recommending
this clinic as a positive experience for your child, under no
circumstances is this clinic or camp sanctioned by this youth
football program or the Jr. All-American Football Conference of
Southern California. The advertisement of this clinic is
strictly for the purposes of notifying you of the opportunity
for your child to participate prior to the beginning of the
upcoming football season. Be aware that you as a parent or legal
guardian may be required to sign an insurance waiver, in the
event that the individual(s) does not offer such coverage for
your child for the duration of this clinic/camp. This youth
organization and the J.A.A.F.S.C. does not provide such coverage
for this clinic/camp.
