An advanced low humidity portable evaporative cooling system.
Recalculating water pump - 3 speed 36" Fan. Each unit will cool an
area of 2,500 sq. ft. 110 volt - 15 AMP with 4 ft electrical cord
attached. 9,600 CFM.
A 20 galloon reservoir is fed by a 3/4" garden hose fitting. (hose
not included) Delivery item only.
This model has a
three speed adjustable fan control (1) 4800 cubic feet per minute,
(2) 6600 cubic feet per minute, and (3) 9600 cubic feet per minute
air flow to accommodate 2,500 sq.ft. indoors. You can feel the
cold air, even outdoors, for at least 50 feet or more! The
Three Speed model is useful in
areas where an adjustable fan speed is required or necessary. This
36" Port-A-Cool cools the air approximately 20° F. or more at an
average operational cost of only
$1.00 per day!
(based on .76 kw per hour and a national average of electricity
and water costs during an average 8-hour day).
The
molded Polyethylene Plastic housing is seated upon a galvanized
steel caddy with casters for easy movement. The 1/6 HP, 115 V., 5
amp submersible pump is self-priming and provides the water flow
from the 20 gallon water reservoir over the 25 sq.ft. area of the
evaporation media. The fan blades and shroud components of the
fans are made of all-composite heavy duty plastic to provide 100%
corrosion resistance. The nonmetallic components require less
electrical power to produce the same amount of air movement
translating into lower operational cost, longer life, and less
maintenance. The ½ horse power, 115 V, 6.5 amp fan motor is water
proof and air cooled. The 6" thick
®
cooling pads
are constructed of a resin-treated kraft paper to provide an
effective air flow to accelerate through the 55/20 degree angle
pads.
This model is useful for large areas including factories,
warehouses, assembly lines, laundries, large kitchens, welding
shops, auto service garages, outdoor loading docks, outdoor
restaurants, swimming pools, tennis courts, golf driving ranges
and hundreds of other otherwise "impossible" places that need
cooling, but was never thought of because of the expense to cool
such areas.
There's nothing to assemble. Simply unpack, attach a standard
3/4" garden hose or optional
Port-A-Filler, plug into a standard 110V electrical
outlet, turn on and enjoy the clean, cold air! |

Swamp Coolers |

back and sides of their rusty metal housings to disperse the

Port-A-Cool® products have
KÜÜL®
cooling pads made of
tough kraft paper, 6" thick, with 55/20 degree fluted angles. This
patented cooling media is coated with a resin treatment to allow
the cooling pads to absorb an enormous amount of moisture. This
resin treatment also makes the pads remain firm for years so that
the proper amount of air flow is allowed to travel through the
pads, which causes the air to become cold when it reaches the
front of the unit. The only water being used is evaporated in
order to cause the cooling process to take place. |

"Swamp coolers" have a
"squirrel cage" fan that not only is very noisy, but at best, only
produces about 4200 CFM (cubic feet per minute air flow). |
Port-A-Cool® products
produce up to 20,000 CFM, more than twice the amount of air
thrust, to cool a much larger area more effectively. |

and must be mounted on the roof, in a window or an opening in the
