Mrs. Walton is a long time breeder (over 30 years) and has done a wonderful job chronicling the history of Welsh Springer Spaniels. This book covers all aspects of the breed (training, grooming, health) and has great pictures throughout. The book primarily covers the Welsh in England but the world wide aspect is not left out. I highly recommend this book.

However the pictures are great and the general information is good. This is a nice starter book to get to know the breed. You may still be able to find it on some book sites.

The history and temperment of the breed is expertly captured. This book is out of print and is hard to find. Occasionally it shows up on auction sites and rare book sites.
